Shift Happens

As you guys may have noted, I am on a streak of irregular postings, but as you may have guessed, I am traveling a fair bit. I was recently selected as the ONLY Bangladeshi to attend a prestigious Emerging Leaders Program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government in Cambridge.

The short program, which brought together 64 mid-career professionals together in a classroom for week-long seminars, was a fascinating look at the future of governance, among other issues. This video was played- and I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

The key take away is that technology is moving faster than we can harness, so the important question then becomes: how do you create a world whereby you’re engaging with change in a meaningful way, whilst remaining in depth in your analysis about how the world functions, in a world where we are constantly swayed by social media.

Take a look, some of these stats will blow your mind away. As always, I’m eager for your feedback, and hope you get inspired as much as I was.
