On the fifth floor of the Musee D’Orsay in Paris lies a magnificent clock. It looks out into the Sacre Coeur of Montmartre, but it i difficult to view the Eiffel Tower from here (a note for staunch tourists.).

After you have absorbed and observed your fair share of impressionistic painters and realistic sculptures, I highly recommend taking the very last exit at the back of the building, sitting yourself down at the throw pillows, and simply gazing at these clocks.
